With nearly 30 years of experience in the pool industry, founders David and Laura Penton bring a wealth of expertise to Fluid Dynamics. David's extensive background encompasses maintenance, repairs, and construction in both commercial and residential settings since he entered the industry in 1991.
Furthermore, David's involvement in the field extends beyond his role at Fluid Dynamics. He currently serves as part of the leadership and teaching faculty at Watershape University, contributing to the education of pool and outdoor living industry professionals around the world. As one of the co-founders and primary hosts of the Ask The Masters Podcast, he continues to impart knowledge to his industry peers.
Fluid Dynamics has gained recognition from the International Watershape Institute for their ongoing efforts beyond the immediate pool industry. Additionally, David collaborates with author Dr. Wallace J. Nichols at the Live Blue Foundation to raise awareness about the health and wellness benefits associated with being near, in, on, and under water.
David's remarkable achievements have also been acknowledged by the Society of Watershape Designers, where he previously attained the prestigious designation of SWD Master, the highest level within the organization.
Martin Martinez, our most senior plumber. Martin has over three decades of invaluable experience and a remarkable creative flair. With an unwavering passion for continuous learning, Martin is not just one of the most distinguished pool plumbers in Southern California; he is also a remarkable mentor and teacher to those fortunate enough to work under his guidance.
Eduardo and Alma Magana – our husband and wife team re-inforces the family theme we promote at Fluid Dynamics. Alma leads our scheduling department, and Eduardo has quickly risen to become the #1 field technician working under Martin.
Janinne Winstel – Janinne is our office manager, and she is the ROCK who keeps everything running smoothly at Fluid Dynamics. Her quiet leadership and strong relational skills are appreciated by everyone she works with, both clients and staff. As a teen Janinne cut her teeth working at her father’s construction company building shopping centers. She brings a lifetime of experience and professionalism to our team, as well as a happy welcoming demeanor to everyone she connects with.
Rigo Valdin is our Master Electrician. Rigo comes to us via the Photovoltaic Solar Panel installation industry where he oversaw complex solar electrical installations and integration in both the residential and commercial realm.
Our team is balanced out by a staff of field technicians who each bring unique skills to assure that each project is executed with the utmost precision and skill.
